Metropolitan-Area Network (MAN)
A metropolitan-area network (MAN) is a wireless network that covers a city or a large campus. These networks are usually operated by telecommunication service providers or large companies that provide wireless connectivity to their employees or customers. MAN networks are ideal for delivering high-speed internet, video, or voice services to a large number of users within a specific area. Wide-Area Network (WAN)
A wide-area network (WAN) is a type of wireless network that covers a large geographic area and connects multiple LANs (local area networks) together. WAN networks are used by businesses to connect their remote offices or employees working from home to their central office or data center. WAN networks use different technologies, such as satellite, cellular, or microwave links, to provide connectivity across long distances. This type of network is also used by internet service providers to connect their customers to the internet.
